One-on-one personal training provides clients with individualized focus and attention. With the guidance of your dedicated certified personal trainer you will learn proper nutrition, flexibility techniques, corrective, cardiovascular, and weight training exercises that will help you achieve your fitness goals.
It is recommended that adults get 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week, but do you know which exercises to do or where to start? Each individual comes with their own unique set of needs and goals and there is no "one-size fits all" plan, therefore, it is the job of the personal trainer to identify, program, and execute individualized programs for each client.
Safety is priority number one. We do not jump right into an exercise program without obtaining critical health information. All new clients will meet with me for a complimentary body assessment, fill out a physical readiness questionnaire, and perform a series of basic exercises to evaluate your balance, flexibility, and overall physical level. and we will dive a little bit into your background with exercise as well as other pieces of the puzzle that will help me develop the very best plan for you - after that... WE GET TO WORK! You can expect most programs to run 3 sessions per week per month, but can be tailored and customized to more or less depending on your schedule and goals. In order for any program to work, dedication and the desire to show up is a must and you can expect to spend a minimum of 3 months to see measurable results.
Like most things, exercise does come with a caveat.... Have you ever heard the saying "Abs are made in the kitchen"? It's every bit as true as it sounds, you can exercise every single day of the week, but if you are lagging in the nutrition department your efforts will be futile. If you're looking to drop weight, lose fat, and gain lean muscle mass, nutrition is just as important if not more important. Fat loss is 20% exercise and 80% nutrition, these two must work together in tandem if you want to reach your goals. In addition to being a certified personal trainer, I am also a certified in nutrition and I'd love to work with you as your nutrition coach.
